Orient Corporation operates in five business segments: individual installment credit (including auto loans, auto leases, and shopping credit), card and loan, bank guarantee, settlement and guarantee, and overseas business. In the card and loan segment, the company issues proprietary cards, partner cards, and business cards with cash advance functions. The bank guarantee business provides debt guarantees for customers borrowing from affiliated financial institutions. The settlement and guarantee business offers rent payment guarantees, accounts receivable payment guarantees, collection agency services, and small-scale lease guarantees. In its overseas operations, Orient Corporation conducts auto loan-related businesses in Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
