TAYA, Net Income/Loss Unexpectedly Turn to Loss for Last Fiscal Year, Returning to Profitability This Year

Earnings ReportTAYA CO.,Ltd. <4679> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the morning on April 30th (10:40). The net loss (non-consolidated) for the fiscal year ended March 2026 expanded to a loss of 160 million yen (compared to a loss of 62 million yen in the previous period), falling below the forecast of a 20 million yen, and turning into a loss. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the net income/loss is expected to turn into a profit of 10 million yen.
At the same time, the company has decided not to pay the year-end lump-sum dividend, which had previously been undecided, and has left the annual dividend for the current term undetermined.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the net income/loss turned to a loss of 140 million yen (compared to a profit of 26 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit margin worsened from 4.7% in the same period last year to 1.8%.
