TOHO HOLDINGS, Ordinary Profit Forecast for Last Fiscal Year Revised Downward to an Unexpected 20% Decrease, Dividend Revised Upward by 45 Yen

Guidance Update ReportTOHO HOLDINGS CO.,LTD. <8129> [TSE Prime] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on April 28th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has decreased 26.5%, from the previous forecast of 22.6 billion yen to 16.6 billion yen (compared to 20.7 billion yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 19.9% decrease in profit. However, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 10.2%, from the previous forecast of 15.7 billion yen to 17.3 billion yen (compared to 19.8 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 20.9% to 12.8%.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 42.0%, from the previous forecast of 14.2 billion yen to 8.27 billion yen (compared to 12.1 billion yen in the same period of the previous year). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 31.8% decrease in profit.
At the same time, the company has significantly increased its planned annual dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 120 yen to 165 yen (compared to 65 yen in the previous period).
