Transportation Equipment
The company operates two main business segments: the AxelLiner business and the AxelGlobe business. In the AxelLiner business, Axelspace provides development and operation services for customer-oriented small satellite projects. The company offers one-stop solutions that include technical development as well as non-technical procedures such as launch vehicle arrangements and regulatory approvals. Axelspace was founded in 2008 as a small satellite venture spun off from the University of Tokyo and Tokyo Institute of Technology. In the same year, the company received an order for the microsatellite "WNISAT-1" from Weathernews <4825>, which was launched in 2013 and operated until the following year. In 2019, Axelspace also successfully launched a small satellite for technology demonstration ordered by JAXA.
