RYOHIN KEIKAKU Rises on Third Consecutive Month of Same-Store Sales Growth in March
RYOHIN KEIKAKU CO.,LTD. <7453> rebounded. The company announced after trading closed on the 2nd that its March domestic sales, combining existing stores and online stores, increased 3.7% year-on-year, marking the third consecutive month of exceeding the previous year's results, which was well received by investors.
Due to the effect of the "MUJI Passport Week" members-only sale held from March 20th to 30th, all categories including apparel and miscellaneous goods, household goods, and food exceeded the previous year's results. Although the sale period had the same number of days as the previous year, the positive impact of the sale starting on a public holiday meant that the effect of having one fewer weekend/holiday compared to the previous year was minimal. Sales combining all stores and online stores increased 9.6% year-on-year.
