KUSURI NO AOKI rebounds on 7% operating profit growth for June-February, reaching 93% of full-year target
KUSURI NO AOKI HOLDINGS CO., LTD. <3549> rebounded in trading. After the close on the 2nd, the company announced its consolidated financial results for the third quarter cumulative period (May 21, 2025 to February 20, 2026) of the fiscal year ending May 2026. Sales reached \422.807 billion (up 13.7% year-on-year), while operating profit came in at \21.42 billion (up 7.4% year-on-year). The company has been working to increase the ratio of stores with dispensing pharmacies and expand its food category, including fresh food products. With the progress rate against the full-year operating profit target reaching approximately 93%, buying interest gathered on positive sentiment toward the business performance. The company maintained its full-year guidance, stating that results are progressing largely in line with plans.
Additionally, the company disclosed its monthly sales report for March (February 21 to March 20). Same-store sales increased 1.5% year-on-year, marking the first increase in three months. Total sales for all stores rose 11.8%.
