Asterisk gains momentum in afternoon session after unveiling next-generation linear transport system concept model
Asterisk Inc. <6522> showed momentum in the afternoon session, briefly rising into positive territory. Around noon today, the company announced a concept model for its new linear transport system, "AsReader HAKUBU." The announcement attracted buying interest, as the system incorporates an advanced linear motor technology the company has been developing, featuring a new transport method in which carriers levitate and travel.
AsReader HAKUBU is characterized by its ability to transport heavy loads with minimal force due to its non-contact rail design, and its high maintainability with fewer wearing parts. Additionally, as a power-supplied system that does not rely on batteries, it can operate stably in low-temperature environments such as refrigerated warehouses and food factories. The system is scheduled to be showcased at the 7th Kansai Logistics Exhibition from April 8 to 10, and at "MODEX 2026" to be held in the United States from April 13 to 16.
