The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 533.47 yen. This was followed by Tokyo Electron <8035> at 185.51 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> at 67.39 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 54.65 yen, FANUC <6954> at 32.26 yen.
SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 47.33 yen to The Nikkei. Below, IBIDEN <4062> was at 15.51 yen, Nitori <9843> was at 5.43 yen, Shizuoka Financial <5831> was at 4.09 yen, AEON <8267> was at 3.71 yen.
By industry, 22 of the 33 industries gained. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked first, followed by Electric Appliances Sector, Real Estate Sector, and Rubber Products Sector. Iron & Steel Sector, Banks Sector, and Mining Sector were among the top losers.
