Guidance Update ReportPCA CORPORATION <9629> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision at noon (11:30) on February 26th. The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has decreased 4.9%, from the previous forecast of 2.53 billion yen to 2.40 billion yen (compared to 2.68 billion yen in the previous period), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 5.9% to 10.5%. However, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 30.1%, from the previous forecast of 1.64 billion yen to 2.14 billion yen (compared to 1.74 billion yen in the previous period), turning to a 23.3% increase in the consolidated net income outlook.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 9.4%, from the previous forecast of 1.32 billion yen to 1.20 billion yen (compared to 1.28 billion yen in the same period of the previous year). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 6.3% decrease in profit.
