ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 225.96 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Fujikura <5803> was at 40.95 yen, TDK <6762> was at 28.58 yen, DISCO <6146> was at 15.18 yen, Mitsubishi Estate <8802> was at 6.18 yen.
The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 88.24 yen. This was followed by SONY <6758> at 39.44 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> at 32.09 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> at 28.38 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> at 17.55 yen.
By industry, 16 of the 33 industries gained. Air Transportation Sector ranked first, followed by Electric Power & Gas Sector, Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector, and Construction Sector. Nonferrous Metals Sector, Marine Transportation Sector, and Land Transportation Sector were among the top losers.
