On the 4th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 914.14 yen (-1.74%) lower from the previous weekend to 51,497.20 yen, falling for the first time in forth days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 850, lost was 715, and unchanged was 46.
SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 384.85 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 364.99 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> was at 131.72 yen, TDK <6762> was at 39.39 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 36.77 yen.
The top positive contributor was Tokyo Electron <8035>, pushing up The Nikkei by 61.62 yen. This was followed by FANUC <6954> at 42.26 yen, Lasertec <6920> at 31.78 yen, NEXON <3659> at 15.42 yen, Astellas Pharma <4503> at 15.15 yen.
By industry, 12 of the 33 industries gained. Air Transportation Sector ranked first, followed by Glass & Ceramics Products Sector, Oil & Coal Products Sector, and Rubber Products Sector. Marine Transportation Sector, Information & Communication Sector, and Services Sector were among the top losers.
