Earnings ReportHIROSE ELECTRIC CO.,LTD. <6806> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on November 4th (16:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) decreased 11.5% from the same period last year to 15.5 billion yen.
However, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 7.1%, from the previous forecast of 28.0 billion yen to 30.0 billion yen (compared to 33.0 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 15.2% to 9.2%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease 6.6% from the same period last year to 14.4 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 8.29 billion yen, a 9.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 24.1% in the same period last year to 20.0%.
