On the 27th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 227.32 yen (-0.60%) lower from the previous day to 37,799.97 yen, falling for the first time in third days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1049, lost was 523, and unchanged was 62. The number of rising stocks significantly exceeded the number of falling stocks.
ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 152.31 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 64.51 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 37.48 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 14.47 yen, DISCO <6146> was at 10.98 yen.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 26.63 yen. This was followed by KDDI <9433> at 8.68 yen, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> at 7.40 yen, TERUMO <4543> at 6.58 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> at 5.43 yen.
By industry, 21 of the 33 industries gained. Insurance Sector ranked first, followed by Banks Sector, Food Products Sector, and Land Transportation Sector. Nonferrous Metals Sector, Transportation Equipment Sector, and Other Products Sector were among the top losers.
