Guidance Update ReportDAIKEN CO.,LTD. <5900> [TSE Std] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on March 27th (17:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the fiscal year ending February 2025 has decreased 44.0%, from the previous forecast of 600 million yen to 336 million yen (compared to 485 million yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 30.7% decrease in profit.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the September to February period (2H) ordinary profit has decreased 50.7%, from the previous forecast of 521 million yen to 257 million yen (compared to 299 million yen in the same period of the previous year). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 14.0% decrease in profit.
At the same time, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 17 yen to 20 yen (compared to 15 yen in the previous period).
