Guidance Update ReportThe Furukawa Battery Co.,Ltd. <6937> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision after the market closed on March 27th (17:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has been revised upward 34.1%, from the previous forecast of 4.1 billion yen to 5.5 billion yen (compared to 3.41 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 20.0% to 61.0%, reaches new record high for the first time in four terms.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 51.4%, from the previous forecast of 2.72 billion yen to 4.12 billion yen (compared to 3.25 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 26.8% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
