The top positive contributor was BANDAI NAMCO <7832>, pushing up The Nikkei by 52.28 yen. This was followed by SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 28.80 yen, KONAMI <9766> at 22.85 yen, HONDA MOTOR <7267> at 22.39 yen, KDDI <9433> at 16.97 yen.
TDK <6762> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 22.19 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 19.2 yen, KYOCERA <6971> was at 16.7 yen, TERUMO <4543> was at 15.39 yen, Astellas Pharma <4503> was at 9.45 yen.
By industry, 16 of the 33 industries gained. Marine Transportation Sector ranked first, followed by Other Products Sector, Transportation Equipment Sector, and Information & Communication Sector. Pharmaceuticals Sector, Air Transportation Sector, and Land Transportation Sector were among the top losers.
