Earnings ReportSMS Co., Ltd. <2175> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on April 28th (15:30). The consolidated net income/loss for the fiscal year ended March 2026 turned into a loss of 14.3 billion yen (compared to a profit of 6.05 billion yen in the previous period), falling below the forecast of a 7.02 billion yen, and turning into a loss. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the consolidated net income/loss is expected to recover in a V-shape to a profit of profit of 6.16 billion yen.
At the same time, the company has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 30.5 yen, an increase of 1 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income/loss turned to a loss of 18.9 billion yen (compared to a profit of 2.20 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit margin decreased from 17.1% in the same period last year to 16.6%.
