Guidance Update ReportChichibu Railway Co.,Ltd. <9012> [TSE Std] announced a performance revision after the market closed on March 26th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has been revised upward 3.2 times, from the previous forecast of 140 million yen to 450 million yen (compared to 270 million yen in the previous period), reaches new record high for the first time in thirty seven terms, turning to a 66.7% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward from an expected loss of 134 million yen to a profit of 176 million yen (compared to a profit of 203 million yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a profit.
