ICHIKEN, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward to an Unexpected 20% Increase, Raises Record High Profit, Dividend Revised Upward by 45 Yen

Earnings ReportICHIKEN Co., Ltd. <1847> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 13th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 23.5% from the same period last year, reaching 6.56 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 22.7%, from the previous forecast of 6.60 billion yen to 8.10 billion yen (compared to 6.76 billion yen in the previous period), record profits reach two consecutive terms, turning to a 19.7% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 52.2%, from the previous forecast of 2.87 billion yen to 4.37 billion yen (compared to 3.76 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 16.2% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 185 yen to 230 yen (compared to 140 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 22.9% from the same period last year, reaching 2.83 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 8.7% in the same period last year to 9.9%.
