KEIYO GAS CO., LTD. <9539> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 30th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September) dropped by 40.2% from the same period last year to 2.89 billion yen. The progress rate against the full-year plan of 1.9 billion yen is 152.4%, but was lower than the the same period of the previous year of 199.3%.

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary loss for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to further decrease to loss of 995 million yen (compared to a loss of 2.41 billion yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a profit of profit of 58 million yen (compared to a loss of 913 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin significantly improved from -4.7% in the same period last year to -0.8%.
