Ota Floriculture Auction Co.,Ltd. <7555> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 14th (14:30). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) turned into a loss of 17 million yen (compared to a profit of 124 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease 1.9% from the same period last year to 202 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit significantly dropped to 3 million yen, a 96.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from 7.7% in the same period last year to -1.4%.
