Birdman, Net Income Forecast for the Fiscal Year Loss Widened in Downward Revision

Birdman Inc. <7063> [TSE Growth] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 15th (15:30). The consolidated net loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2026 (July 2025 to March 2026) expanded to a loss of 707 million yen (compared to a loss of 533 million yen in the same period last year).

In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income/loss has been revised downward from an expected loss of 606 million yen to a loss of 841 million yen (compared to a loss of 715 million yen in the previous period), indicating an expansion in the loss margin.

Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the downward revision, our estimate of the consolidated net income/loss for the January to June period (second half) has been revised downward from an expected loss of 353 million yen to a loss of 588 million yen (compared to a loss of 318 million yen in the same period of the previous year), indicating an expansion in the loss margin.

In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated net loss expanded to a loss of 454 million yen (compared to a loss of 136 million yen in the same period last year). However, the operating profit/loss margin remained almost flat, changing from -142.9% in the same period last year to -142.9%.
