The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending January 2026 (February to October) significantly dropped 93.5% from the same period last year to 0.46 billion yen. This has already exceeded the planned deficit of loss of 3.00 billion yen for the .
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net loss for the November to January period (4Q) is expected to nearly flat at loss of 3.46 billion yen (compared to a loss of 3.42 billion yen in the same period last year). However, if the fourth-quarter performance remains at the same level as the first three quarters, the full-year plan may be increased.
In the most recent three-month period, from August to October (3Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 1.82 billion yen, a 21.6% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 6.6% in the same period last year to 5.7%.
