TSE Prime Market Advancers Overwhelm Decliners 1,388 to 153 at the Close
The TSE Prime Market ended the session with 1,388 advancers overwhelming 153 decliners, while 31 issues remained unchanged. Buying was widespread, lifting 29 of the exchange’s 33 industry sectors. Nonferrous metals, glass and ceramics, electric appliances, and real estate spearheaded the market gains. Conversely, mining, marine transportation, and oil and coal products were the primary laggards.
