BOJ Exchange Rate at 5 p.m.: Dollar Rises to \159.56-58, Yen Weakens
The Bank of Japan announced on the 2nd that the foreign exchange rate at 5 p.m. stood at \159.56-58 per dollar, representing a dollar appreciation and yen depreciation of 77 sen compared to the previous day. The euro traded at \184.01-05 against the yen, marking a euro appreciation and yen depreciation of 11 sen. Against the dollar, the euro was at $1.1532-34, showing a euro depreciation and dollar appreciation of $0.0049.
