KOMERI shares continue to rise on existing store sales growth in March
KOMERI CO.,LTD. <8218> shares continued to rise. The company's monthly sales report for March, released after trading on the 1st, showed existing store sales increased 5.7% year-on-year, marking the first positive growth in two months, which was well received by investors.
With rising temperatures, sales of weed control products such as herbicides and weed barrier sheets, as well as agricultural materials including fertilizers and pesticides, performed strongly. Additionally, due to concerns over the Middle East situation, there was a trend of customers seeking to secure daily necessities such as paper products, as well as petroleum-derived products including paint and mixed gasoline, earlier than usual. Total store sales increased 6.6% year-on-year.
