The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 91, lost was 1472, and unchanged was 8. It was a completely discounted deal with more than 90% of stocks falling in price.

ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 306.18 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 203.76 yen, TDK <6762> was at 55.4 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 45.12 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 40.44 yen.

The top positive contributor was Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063>, pushing up The Nikkei by 12.87 yen. This was followed by CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> at 12.03 yen, Lasertec <6920> at 4.41 yen, JAPAN TOBACCO <2914> at 2.61 yen, SECOM <9735> at 1.94 yen.

By industry, 32 of the 33 industries lost, with only one industry gained, Oil & Coal Products Sector. Securities & Commodities Futures Sector ranked as a top loser, followed by Transportation Equipment Sector, Glass & Ceramics Products Sector, Air Transportation Sector, Machinery Sector, and Banks Sector.
