ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 327.57 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 236.65 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 71.2 yen, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> was at 48.13 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 38.61 yen.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 126.75 yen. This was followed by CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> at 42.42 yen, Astellas Pharma <4503> at 29.00 yen, Mitsubishi <8058> at 28.88 yen, KDDI <9433> at 14.04 yen.
By industry, 19 of the 33 industries gained. Pharmaceuticals Sector ranked first, followed by Air Transportation Sector, Retail Trade Sector, and Land Transportation Sector. Nonferrous Metals Sector, Marine Transportation Sector, and Machinery Sector were among the top losers.
