SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 164.1 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 39.5 yen, KDDI <9433> was at 23.7 yen, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> was at 10.8 yen, Mitsubishi <8058> was at 9.52 yen.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 18.64 yen. This was followed by ADVANTEST <6857> at 8.10 yen, Eisai <4523> at 5.60 yen, Ajinomoto <2802> at 4.66 yen, FANUC <6954> at 4.05 yen.
By industry, 9 of the 33 industries gained. Pulp & Paper Sector ranked first, followed by Rubber Products Sector, Land Transportation Sector, and Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector. Banks Sector, Insurance Sector, and Marine Transportation Sector were among the top losers.
