On the 19th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 396.81 yen (-1.02%) lower from the previous day to 38,488.34 yen, falling for the first time in forth days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 654, lost was 891, and unchanged was 78.
Tokyo Electron <8035> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 73.34 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 61.73 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> was at 35.12 yen, Trend Micro <4704> was at 30.37 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 16.13 yen.
The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 10.98 yen. This was followed by KONAMI <9766> at 9.48 yen, RYOHIN KEIKAKU <7453> at 6.09 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 3.92 yen, AEON <8267> at 3.09 yen.
By industry, 10 of the 33 industries gained. Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector ranked first, followed by Land Transportation Sector, Retail Trade Sector, and Iron & Steel Sector. Electric Appliances Sector, Pharmaceuticals Sector, and Transportation Equipment Sector were among the top losers.
