Earnings ReportAmvis Holdings, Inc. <7071> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 14th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2026 (October 2025 to March 2026) decreased 26.8% from the same period last year to 2.78 billion yen. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 3.30 billion yen was 84.5%, also surpassing the five-year average of 49.1%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to September period (second half) is expected to significant drop 79.8% from the same period last year to 0.51 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 1.21 billion yen, a 36.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 14.4% in the same period last year to 9.5%.
