Earnings ReportSHOFU INC. <7979> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on May 13th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ended March 2026 increased by 6.1% from the previous period to 5.85 billion yen exceeding the previous forecast of 5.36 billion yen and resulted in an increase in profit, a complete reversal from the forecast for a decline in profit. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the consolidated ordinary profit is nearly flat with a slight increase of 0.5% to 5.89 billion yen, marking the eighth consecutive term of record-high profits. This will be the sixth consecutive term of revenue and the tenth consecutive term of profit growth.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 53 yen to 60 yen (compared to 67 yen in the prior term), and has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 61 yen, an increase of 1 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 62.3% from the same period last year, reaching 1.67 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 11.1% in the same period last year to 13.1%.
