Earnings ReportSumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd. <4506> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on May 13th (13:00). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ended March 2026 expanded to 4.5 times that of the previous period to 106 billion yen. However, for the fiscal year ending March 2027, the consolidated net income is expected to decrease by 27.9% from the previous period to 77.0 billion yen.
At the same time, the company has left the annual dividend for the current term undetermined.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income/loss turned to a loss of 0.81 billion yen (compared to a profit of 2.41 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from 14.7% in the same period last year to -2.3%.
