Earnings ReportMUTO SEIKO CO. <7927> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 12th (15:40). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ended March 2026 increased by 7.3% from the previous period to 2.76 billion yen exceeding the previous forecast of 2.40 billion yen and resulted in an increase in profit, a complete reversal from the forecast for a decline in profit. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the consolidated ordinary profit is expected to grow by 12.0% to 3.10 billion yen, marking the fifth consecutive term of record-high profits. This will be the sixth consecutive term of revenue and the fifth consecutive term of profit growth.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 101 yen to 115 yen (compared to 94.5 yen in the prior term), and has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 117 yen, an increase of 2 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 3.9% from the same period last year, reaching 0.42 billion yen. The operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 5.0% in the same period last year to 5.1%.
