Idemitsu Kosan, Net Income to Reach 75 Billion Yen for The Current Fiscal Year

Earnings ReportIdemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd. <5019> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 12th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ended March 2026 expanded to 65.2% from the previous period to 171 billion yen. With the transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for the fiscal year ending March 2027 is also bleak, with an expected significant drop by 75.0 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income/loss turned to a profit of 119 billion yen (compared to a loss of 23.3 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit margin drastically improved from 1.7% in the same period last year to 8.1%.
