TOSOH, Ordinary Profit Forecast for Last Fiscal Year Revised Upward to an Unexpected 3% Increase

TOSOH CORPORATION <4042> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision in the afternoon session on April 21st (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has been revised upward 12.8%, from the previous forecast of 94.0 billion yen to 106 billion yen (compared to 103 billion yen in the previous period), turning to a 2.9% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.

Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 24.9%, from the previous forecast of 48.2 billion yen to 60.2 billion yen (compared to 57.8 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 4.1% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
