The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2026 (June 2025 to February 2026) decreased 7.3% from the same period last year to 178 million yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 291 million yen was 61.2%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 73.3%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the March to May period (4Q) is expected to expand 61.4% from the same period last year, reaching 113 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from December to February (3Q), the ordinary profit dropped to 56 million yen, a 32.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 8.0% in the same period last year to 5.2%.
