Earnings ReportAsahi Group Holdings,Ltd. <2502> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) at noon (11:30) on March 10th. The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2025 (January to September) decreased 26.2% from the same period last year to 102 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 167 billion yen was 61.4%, also falling below the five-year average of 78.5%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to grow 22.6% from the same period last year, reaching 64.6 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 44.0 billion yen, a 30.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 11.3% in the same period last year to 8.4%.
