HOSOYA PYRO-ENGINEERING CO.,LTD. <4274> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 9th (15:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) dropped 35.0% from the same period last year to 240 million yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 283 million yen was 84.8%, almost the same as the five-year average of 83.5%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit/loss for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to turn into a profit of 43 million yen (compared to a loss of 72 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the ordinary profit decreased to 134 million yen, a 26.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 37.8% in the same period last year to 23.2%.
