DAI-DAN, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 14%, Raises Record High Profit Forecast, Dividend Revised Upward by 8 Yen

Earnings ReportDAI-DAN CO.,LTD. <1980> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 6th (13:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) expanded 27.5 billion yen, an increase 62.3% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 14.1%, from the previous forecast of 28.3 billion yen to 32.3 billion yen (compared to 23.4 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 20.5% to 37.6%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for two consecutive terms.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) has been revised upward 39.4%, from the previous forecast of 10.1 billion yen to 14.1 billion yen (compared to 16.4 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 38.3% to 14.1%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 119 yen to 127 yen (compared to 163 yen before the 3-for-1 forward stock split in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 9.41 billion yen, a 5.6% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin rose from 12.0% in the same period last year to 14.5%.
