Earnings ReportRIKEN TECHNOS CORPORATION <4220> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on January 30th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 5.8% from the same period last year, reaching 8.82 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 10.7%, from the previous forecast of 10.3 billion yen to 11.4 billion yen (compared to 10.5 billion yen in the previous period), record profits reach five consecutive terms, turning to a 7.7% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 22.9%, from the previous forecast of 4.81 billion yen to 5.91 billion yen (compared to 5.87 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 0.6% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 47 yen to 52 yen (compared to 41 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 3.33 billion yen, an 8.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 9.4% in the same period last year to 8.8%.
