Earnings ReportSeria Co., Ltd. <2782> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on January 30th (15:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 18.2% from the same period last year, reaching 15.7 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for ordinary profit has been revised upward 14.0%, from the previous forecast of 17.1 billion yen to 19.5 billion yen (compared to 16.9 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 0.6% to 14.8%.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 27.7%, from the previous forecast of 8.65 billion yen to 11.0 billion yen (compared to 9.29 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 19.0% increase in the ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 70 yen to 75 yen (compared to 70 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the ordinary profit increased 30.0% from the same period last year, reaching 7.26 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 8.9% in the same period last year to 10.5%.
