Guidance Update Report

Metaplanet Inc. <3350> [TSE Std] announced a performance revision after the market closed on October 1st (15:45). The consolidated operating profit forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2025 has been revised upward 88.0%, from the previous forecast of 2.50 billion yen to 4.70 billion yen (compared to 0.35 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 7.1 times to 13 times. The company has further increased its previous forecast of record profits for the first time in twenty years.

Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the July to December period (second half) consolidated operating profit is expected to increase 3.0 times, from the previous forecast of 1.09 billion yen to 3.29 billion yen (compared to 0.46 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 2.3 times to 7.1 times.
