Earnings ReportNitta Gelatin Inc. <4977> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on May 14th (15:15). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 expanded 74.0% from the previous period to 4.14 billion yen. However, for the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated ordinary profit is expected to decrease by 1.1% from the previous period to 4.1 billion yen.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 20 yen to 25 yen (compared to 16 yen in the prior term). For the current term, the company plans to remove the special dividend of the previous term and set the dividend for this term at an ordinary dividend of 24 yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 0.6 billion yen, a 9.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin drastically improved from 2.8% in the same period last year to 8.1%.
