Guidance Update ReportDai Nippon Toryo Company, Limited <4611> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision after the market closed on May 7th (18:00). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has been revised upward 2.2 times, from the previous forecast of 4.3 billion yen to 9.43 billion yen (compared to 4.6 billion yen in the previous period), reaches new record high for the first time in eight terms, turning to a 2.1 times increase in the consolidated net income outlook. However, the full-year consolidated operating profit has decreased 1.9%, from the previous forecast of 4.8 billion yen to 4.71 billion yen (compared to 4.9 billion yen in the previous period), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 2.1% to 3.9%.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated net income is expected to increase 4.2 times, from the previous forecast of 1.58 billion yen to 6.71 billion yen (compared to 2.64 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 2.5 times increase in the consolidated net income outlook.
