Earnings ReportLasertec corporation <6920> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on April 28th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July 2024 to March 2025) increased 28.5% from the same period last year, reaching 75.3 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 104 billion yen was 72.5%, exceeding the five-year average of 59.5%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to June period (4Q) is expected to grow 22.6% from the same period last year, reaching 28.6 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit significantly dropped to 12.9 billion yen, a 52.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 42.4% in the same period last year to 39.2%.
