Hitachi, 15% Increase in Net Income, Record High for The First Time in Three Years

Earnings ReportHitachi, Ltd. <6501> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on April 28th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 increased 4.4% from the previous period to 615 billion yen. In the fiscal year ending March 2026, the profit is expected to grow by 15.3% to 710 billion yenExpected to reach record high profits for the first time in three years.
At the same time, the company decided to implement a year-end dividend of 22 yen for the previous term, which had been previously undecided (making the annual dividend 43 yen), and has left the annual dividend for the current term undetermined.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income grew 27.7% from the same period last year, reaching 184 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 9.2% in the same period last year to 11.4%.
