Earnings ReportJapan Eyewear Holdings Co., Ltd. <5889> [TSE Std] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on March 13th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending January 2025 expanded 80.2% from the previous period to 3.99 billion yen, exceeding the previous forecast of 3.35 billion yen. In the fiscal year ending January 2026, the profit is nearly flat with a slight increase of 0.2% to 4 billion yen, marking the fifth consecutive term of record-high profits.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 56 yen to 66 yen (compared to 19 yen in the prior term), and has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 84 yen, an increase of 18 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from November to January (4Q), the consolidated net income increased 92.3% from the same period last year, reaching 1.57 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 26.6% in the same period last year to 30.7%.
