Earnings ReportQB Net Holdings Co.,Ltd. <6571> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on February 13th (16:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July to December) significantly dropped 50.6% from the same period last year to 0.41 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 1.22 billion yen was 34.2%, also falling below the four-year average of 65.9%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the January to June period (2H) is expected to expand 75.7% from the same period last year, reaching 0.8 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (2Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 0.07 billion yen, a 71.6% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 6.9% in the same period last year to 2.9%.
