S&J Corporation <5599> [TSE-G] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 13th (16:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) expanded to 189 million yen, an increase of 64.3% compared to the same period last year. The progress rate against the 403 million yen full-year plan was 46.9%, exceeding the same period of the previous year of 36.1%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow by 4.9% from the same period last year, reaching 214 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the ordinary profit increased by 78.2% from the same period last year, reaching 98 million yen. The operating profit margin rose from 16.9% in the same period last year to 21.3%.
